Stress during pregnancy isn’t just about hormones. It’s about the weight of expectations, racial bias in healthcare, generational trauma, and the need to “stay strong” even when we want to fall apart. I see you—and I want to remind you that your wellness matters just as much as your baby’s.


🌿 1. Herbal Support & Aromatherapy
 Gentle herbal teas like chamomile, lavender, and lemon balm can ease tension and support your nervous system. Aromatherapy with essential oils such as frankincense, ylang ylang, or sweet orange can also help reduce anxious thoughts. Try diffusing them during your evening wind-down or placing a few drops on your pillow. (Always consult your care provider before using herbs or essential oils.)

🧘🏾‍♀️ 2. Meditation & Mindfulness
 Even 5–10 minutes of intentional breathing can reset your nervous system. Meditation doesn’t have to be long or complicated. You can simply close your eyes, place your hands on your belly, and repeat an affirmation like:
 
“I am safe. I trust my body and my baby.”

🛁 3. Create a Calming Ritual
 You deserve moments of stillness and care. A simple nightly ritual—like a warm bath, gentle prenatal stretching, or massaging your belly with oils while listening to soft music—can help your body relax and signal that it’s safe to rest.

Happy Labor Day!

As we celebrate this Labor Day, a time often associated with rest and reflection, let’s use this opportunity to delve into a powerful journey of self-discovery and alignment. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we often forget to pause and ask ourselves: "Am I truly in sync with who I am?"

This month, I want to take you on a journey where we explore the depths of self-awareness, the beauty of alignment, and the transformational power of embracing your uniqueness. Each week on YouTube, Titktok and inside our group journaling session in The Mental Wealth Social, we'll tackle a different aspect, helping you uncover the layers of your authentic self and guiding you toward a more harmonious life.

To kick things off, let's talk about the impact of self-reflection. Think of a moment when you did something that didn’t feel quite right—maybe it was a decision at work, a choice in your relationship, or even a seemingly minor activity that left you feeling drained instead of fulfilled. 

What did that experience teach you about yourself?

Practical Tip: Start a self-reflection journal. Each evening, jot down one thing that made you feel good that day and one thing that didn't. This simple exercise will help you begin to recognize patterns and areas of alignment—and misalignment—in your life.

As we explore self-reflection, think about this: What aspects of your life feel light and uplifting, and which ones feel heavy and burdensome? Reflecting on these can help set the stage for deeper exploration next week, where we’ll talk about aligning with your true essence.


2. Aligning with Your True Essence

Now, let’s bridge self-reflection into alignment. When your life feels like it’s flowing with ease, it's often a sign that you’re in alignment with your true self.

Picture yourself in a situation where you felt fully alive—what were you doing? Who were you with? This week, focus on actions that bring joy and fulfillment.

Practical Tip: Create an "Alignment Checklist." Write down activities, people, and environments that uplift you. Make a conscious effort to experience more of these!

Returning to our theme of alignment, remember there are unique paths to accessing fulfillment. What if finding your rhythm was as simple as being curious about your natural inclinations?

3. Deepening Self-Discovery

Now that you’ve reflected and listed your points of alignment, it’s time to push a bit deeper into self-discovery. We all carry internal narratives and beliefs influenced by the roles we’ve taken on or the expectations we feel from others.

Reflect on this: How often do you act out of obligation versus genuine desire? It’s time to unearth those stories and rewrite the narrative that holds you back.

Practical Tip: Try the “Three Questions” exercise:
  1. What do I genuinely desire?
  2. What’s stopping me from pursuing that desire?
  3. What’s one small step I can take toward it?
As you explore, remember that the curious ones often discover the path to growth. What revelations might you uncover as you challenge the status quo?

4. The Power of Embracing Your Uniqueness

Last but not least, let’s focus on the beauty of embracing your uniqueness. Each of us has a distinct path, shaped by our experiences, passions, and aspirations. When you fully accept and express your individuality, you unlock doors to authentic fulfillment.

Reflect on what makes you unique. What passions have you been hesitant to explore? What parts of yourself have you kept hidden?

Practical Tip: Create a “Uniqueness Manifesto.” List out what makes you, you! Commit to embracing these aspects in your daily life, no matter how unconventional they may seem.

By embracing your uniqueness, you not only honor yourself but also inspire others to do the same.

What Are You Really Attracting? Aligning Your Entire Life With the Law of Attraction
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself what energy you're truly putting out into the world—and if it's really aligned with the life you're trying to call in?

As I was journaling recently, reflecting on how far I’ve come since my rock-bottom moments, I realized that everything I have today—peace of mind, better health, aligned relationships, even money—began with a shift in what I believed I deserved. That belief shift was the foundation of learning how to truly apply the Law of Attraction.

This month, I want to share what I’ve learned about aligning all parts of your being: your mindbodyspirit/energy, and finances. When they are in harmony, manifestation becomes more fluid, intentional, and divine.

I break it down into four areas and each with 3 tips you can start applying right now:

1. Mind: Attract With Intention

Your mindset is the command center. If you’re not clear or if your inner dialogue is rooted in lack, your outer reality will reflect that.
Tips:
  • Affirm with clarity. Don’t just say "I want more money." Say "I am open to receiving financial abundance in ways that align with my purpose."
  • Rewire limiting beliefs. Identify one belief that’s blocking your abundance and journal the opposite truth every morning.
  • Practice mental stillness. Quieting your mind through meditation allows you to hear what you actually desire. I always make sure to have a time for myself when I wake up early, I’ll do my devotional and my C.A.L.M method. 

2. Body: Attract Through Embodiment

Your body stores energy. Trauma, stress, even self-neglect blocks flow.
Tips:
  • Move with love. Dance, walk, stretch—not just to exercise, but to release and realign.
  • Nourish with purpose. Eat foods that support your vibrancy and gut-brain connection.
  • Listen to your body’s wisdom. Rest when needed. Your body doesn’t lie.

3. Spirit/Energy: Attract With Alignment

Energy doesn’t lie. If your vibe is desperate or doubting, your results will reflect that. But when you’re in alignment—you glow differently.
Tips:
  • Visualize in full detail. See it, feel it, embody it.
  • Use tools like Human Design & energy healing to realign with your unique frequency.
  • Protect your energy. Everyone can’t go where you're going.

4. Finances: Attract With Faith and Flow

Money is energy. If you chase it in fear or hoard it in lack, it gets stuck. But if you invite it in with faith and flow, it moves freely.
Tips:
  • Bless your money. Whether it’s $5 or $5000, be grateful.
  • Track abundance. Record every time money flows in—even in small ways.
  • Give generously. Circulation breeds multiplication.

The Law of Attraction isn’t about wishing—it’s about becoming. Your life mirrors who you are being, not just what you want. Align your inner world with the life you're asking for. That’s when the magic happens.

Connecting With Your Energetic Body: Understanding and Aligning With Your Inner Frequency
When was the last time you truly listened to your body beyond the physical? What if your energy had a language of its own?

This month, I’ve been diving into something sacred and deeply transformative: the energetic body. As I decided on this month’s topic, I found myself reflecting on the unseen layers of who we are—the energy, emotion, and intuition that shape how we move through the world.

Understanding your energetic body means connecting with how you feel, not just emotionally, but vibrationally. It means learning to interpret the signals your body is always sending. During my own healing and spiritual journey, tuning into this deeper awareness became a lifeline. When I learned to work with my energy instead of pushing through or ignoring it, everything changed: my health, my boundaries, and my peace.

So let’s get into it. Here are four energetic tools and practices that have helped me get more aligned with my inner frequency:

1. Chakras: Your Inner Energy Centers
Your chakras are like energetic power stations. Each one corresponds to a different area of your life—from safety and creativity to love and truth. When one is out of alignment, you may feel stuck, disconnected, or drained.
Try this: Do a simple body scan from the root (base of your spine) to your crown (top of your head). Ask, "Where am I feeling blocked?" Use colors, breathwork, or affirmations to nourish that space. Example: "I am safe and supported" (Root Chakra).

2. Emotional Awareness: Energy in Motion
Emotions are energy in motion. When we avoid them, they store up in our bodies. When we acknowledge and move through them, we create space for healing.

Try this: Use your journal to name the emotion you’re feeling. Then ask: "Where do I feel this in my body? What is it teaching me?" Movement, sound, or tears can help release what needs to go.

3. Human Design Centers: Your Energetic Blueprint
In Human Design, your body graph includes nine energy centers, each influencing how you process information, emotions, and identity. Understanding which centers are defined or open helps you understand how energy flows through you—and where you may be absorbing others’ energy.

Try this: Look at your Human Design chart (You can get yours free from my website www.jalisahardy.com) and identify one center. Learn its role and whether yours is defined or undefined. Reflect: "How do I express this energy? When do I feel most in alignment here?"

4. Grounding & Clearing Rituals: Keep Your Energy Clear
Our energy gets cluttered. Whether from technology, emotions, or environments, it’s important to clear and reset.

Try this: Create a grounding ritual: Step outside barefoot, light sage or palo santo, take salt baths, or visualize golden light flowing through your body. You don’t need a full moon to reset—just a moment of intention.

By understanding your energetic body, you gain more than self-awareness—you gain sovereignty. You stop outsourcing your peace and start honoring your own inner wisdom.
Your body is wise. Your energy is sacred. You don’t need to force alignment; you just need to feel for it.
