How to Just Be: The Power of Your Presence

How to Just Be: The Power of Your Presence
When was the last time you gave yourself full permission to simply be?

In a world obsessed with productivity and proving our worth through doing, I’ve learned that some of the most powerful moments in life come when I slow down and reconnect with my presence. This revelation didn’t happen overnight, it unfolded as I worked through the pages of my journal, day after day, asking myself: Who am I without the titles, the trauma, the to-do lists?

This month’s blog is deeply personal. As I reflected on what it means to live mindfully and intentionally, I found myself going back to four pillars that continue to ground me: Mindfulness, Presence, Self-Awareness, and Purposeful Living. Below are practical insights and three simple practices for each to help you unlock the power of just being.

1. Mindfulness: Your Anchor in the Chaos
My truth: Mindfulness didn’t come naturally to me. It was a skill I built while juggling healing, motherhood, business, and grief. But learning to pause and breathe has saved me more times than I can count.
Three Practical Tips:
  • Practice 4-4-4 breathing: Inhale 4 sec, hold 4 sec, exhale 4 sec.
  • Use mindful transitions: Pause and reset before switching tasks.
  • Journal one mindful moment from your day.
2. Presence: The Gift You Bring Into Every Room
My truth: I used to think presence was about showing up physically. But I’ve learned that it’s an energy, it’s a way of being that others can feel even before you speak.
Three Practical Tips:
  • Turn off your phone during conversations.
  • Use the 5 senses check-in: What can I see, hear, smell, taste, touch right now?
  • Set daily intentions like: "Today, I will listen with my full attention."
3. Self-Awareness: The Mirror That Guides You
My truth: Self-awareness came from sitting with my pain, my past, and my patterns. It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it.
Three Practical Tips:
  • Use your journal to identify repeating emotions or triggers.
  • Ask, "What am I really feeling and why?"
  • Try weekly check-ins: What worked for me? What didn’t?
4. Purposeful Living: The Path You Were Born to Walk
My truth: Purpose doesn’t always show up in clarity, it often begins with curiosity. When I stopped chasing perfection and started living intentionally, things began to shift.
Three Practical Tips:
  • Write your top 3 values and review decisions through them.
  • Schedule joy—make purpose pleasurable, not performative.
  • Serve someone else intentionally this week.
This blog and journal practice aren’t about adding more to your list. It’s about living with more meaning by doing less but being fully present.

You were never created to hustle for your worth. Your presence is the power.

What brings you joy—and how can you do more of it on purpose?

Making an Impact through Living by Design: Human Design Energy Types

Making an Impact through Living by Design: Human Design Energy Types
“How do I know I’m on the right path?”
“Why does it feel like I’m working so hard but not getting results?”
“How come what works for others doesn’t seem to work for me?”

If you’ve ever asked yourself these questions, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too—spinning my wheels, trying every strategy, wondering why I still felt out of sync.
That’s why this month we’re diving into Human Design—a tool that helped me stop chasing and start living by design.

May is a time of blossoming. And it’s the perfect reminder that we weren’t created to bloom the same way. Understanding how you were designed—your energyyour rhythmyour decision-making style—can completely transform how you show up in the world and the impact you make.

When I discovered my Human Design type, it didn’t just give me information—it gave me confirmation. I wasn’t broken. I was just out of alignment.

Human Design revealed that I’m a Manifesting Generator—fast-moving, multi-passionate, and built to pivot. For years, I had shamed myself for not sticking to one thing. Now I celebrate it. And when I did, the results followed.

🔍 A Quick Breakdown of the 5 Human Design Energy Types:

  1. Manifestors – Initiators. Here to make powerful changes. Impact comes from starting bold movements.
  2. Generators – Builders. Their satisfaction fuels everything. When aligned, they create sustainable systems.
  3. Manifesting Generators – Multi-taskers. They move fast and bring innovation. Their flow IS their gift.
  4. Projectors – Guides. Their wisdom changes lives when they wait for recognition. They show us the path.
  5. Reflectors – Mirrors. They reflect the health of their environment. When honored, they help communities thrive.

You are not here to be a copy of someone else’s success. You were designed for your own lane. This month, take one step toward honoring that.

The C.A.L.M. Method for Making Money Moves

The C.A.L.M. Method for Making Money Moves

Are You Ready to Make Money Moves With Peace & Purpose?

Money is one of the biggest stressors in life. It affects our choices, our confidence, and even our relationships. But what if we could shift how we approach money, not from a place of stress and scarcity but from a place of peace, alignment, and divine wisdom?

That’s where my C.A.L.M. Method comes in. Whether you’re building your business, making investments, or trying to create financial stability, this method will help you move intentionally and spiritually aligned with your financial goals.

Let’s break it down:

💛 C - Check in with God
Before making any money moves, take a step back and pray, meditate, or journal about your financial situation. Ask yourself: Am I moving from a place of faith or fear?

💛 A - Ask for Support
You don’t have to do it alone! Seek guidance, coaching, or mentorship. Whether it’s a financial advisor, a business coach, or even an accountability partner, getting the right support can change everything.

💛 L - Look at What’s Working
Too often, we focus on what’s wrong with our finances instead of what’s already working. Take time to celebrate your wins and recognize patterns of abundance in your life. What money moves have brought you success before?

💛 M - Make the Necessary Changes
Now, it’s time to course correct. Are your spending habits aligned with your goals? Is your business model sustainable? Are you taking bold, faith-led steps toward your vision? Making the necessary changes will help you align with abundance, not just financially but in every area of life.

This month, let’s move with intention, faith, and clarity when it comes to our finances. I’ll be sharing more on Freedom Fridays on YouTube. Join me as we talk about faith-based financial freedom, abundance, and mindset shifts.

Making Herstory – Celebrating Women’s History Month

Making Herstory – Celebrating Women’s History Month
What does it mean to make HERstory?

Women’s History Month isn’t just about remembering the past—it’s about recognizing the impact we continue to make today. As women, we carry the wisdom, strength, and resilience of those who came before us. But how often do we stop and honor our own journey?

This month, I’m reflecting on what it truly means to own our stories, reclaim our power, and step boldly into our purpose.

For me, creating my journal has been an act of honoring women’s voices—including my own. Every page is designed to help women become the authors of their own transformation. Because history isn’t just made by famous names in textbooks—it’s shaped by everyday women who rise, who heal, who break cycles, and who dare to dream bigger.

Honoring Our Own Journey
It’s easy to celebrate the victories of others, but do we take time to recognize our own?
  • What battles have you fought and won?
  • What wisdom do you carry from your experiences?
  • How are you making history in your own life?
This month, I encourage you to document your HERstory. Write down your wins, your lessons, your growth. If you’ve never journaled before, start with this simple prompt:

"What is one way I have overcome adversity and grown stronger?"

How We Can Make HERstory Together
Celebrating Women’s History Month isn’t just about looking back—it’s about actively shaping a better future. Here are three ways you can do that this month:
  1. Honor Yourself – Recognize how far you’ve come. Write down three things you’ve accomplished that make you proud.
  2. Celebrate Another Woman – Lift up the women in your life. Send a note of appreciation, share a book by a female author, or simply tell a friend how much she inspires you.
  3. Use Your Voice – Share your story. Whether it’s through journaling, speaking up in a meeting, or supporting a cause, your voice matters.
This is the essence of making HERstory. It’s about owning your power, embracing your growth, and creating a legacy that inspires others.

Navigating Relationship Changes & Challenges

Navigating Relationship Changes & Challenges

Are Your Relationships Helping You Grow or Holding You Back?

Relationships—whether romantic, platonic, or familial—are at the core of our human experience. They shape us, challenge us, and often reflect back the work we need to do within ourselves. Have you ever found yourself stuck in the same patterns with people, wondering why certain conflicts keep repeating? Or perhaps you feel like your relationships no longer align with the person you are becoming?

Over the years, I’ve experienced deep shifts in my relationships. Some have strengthened and evolved, while others have naturally faded or ended in painful yet necessary goodbyes. Through my own growth, I’ve learned that relationships thrive when we approach them with awareness, clarity, and intentionality—and that’s exactly what we’re diving into this month.

This blog will explore how Human Design, Attachment Styles, Communication Styles, Defined and Undefined Centers, the Happiness Scale, and Muscle Testing can help you navigate relationship changes and challenges. Let’s explore how to make sure the relationships in your life serve your highest good.

Understanding Relationship Dynamics Through Human Design

Human Design offers a blueprint of our energy, communication, and decision-making styles. When you understand your Human Design Relationship Chart, you gain insight into how you naturally express yourself, where you may feel conditioned by others, and how to foster deeper connections.
Some key areas to explore include:
  • Defined vs. Undefined Centers – Our energy centers influence how we experience emotions, communication, and decision-making. For example, if you have an undefined emotional center, you may absorb and amplify the emotions of those around you, which can cause relationship challenges if you’re unaware of it.
  • Your Authority & Decision-Making Style – Do you make decisions from gut instinct (Sacral Authority), from emotional clarity over time (Emotional Authority), or through intuitive knowing (Splenic Authority)? Recognizing your own and your partner’s decision-making process can eliminate frustration and misalignment.
💡 Practical Step: Get your Human Design Relationship Chart by looking up both your design and that of your partner, friend, or family member. Observe how your centers interact—do you amplify each other’s energy or create balance?

Attachment & Communication Styles: Why We Love the Way We Do

Understanding Attachment Styles can provide clarity on relationship struggles. The way we attach to others is often shaped by childhood experiences and past relationships:
  • Secure Attachment – You feel comfortable with intimacy and independence.
  • Anxious Attachment – You crave closeness but often fear abandonment.
  • Avoidant Attachment – You value independence and may struggle with vulnerability.
  • Disorganized Attachment – A mix of anxious and avoidant tendencies, often due to past trauma.
Similarly, Communication Styles impact how we express ourselves in relationships. Are you direct or indirect? Emotional or logical? Do you gravitate towards Passive, Assertive, Aggressive, or Passive-Aggressive communication? Recognizing your own patterns—and those of your loved ones—helps create a bridge for better understanding and more effective communication.
💡 Practical Step: Identify your Attachment & Communication Styles and have open conversations with your loved ones about how you best give and receive love and feedback.

Evaluating Relationship Health: The Happiness Scale & Muscle Testing

Not all relationships are meant to last forever. Some serve a season, a lesson, or a purpose. To evaluate whether a relationship is truly nourishing, I love using The Happiness Scale & Muscle Testing.
  • The Happiness Scale: On a scale of 1-10, how does this relationship make you feel? If a relationship consistently scores below a 5, it may be time to re-evaluate.

  • Muscle Testing: Your body holds the truth about your relationships. Try a simple sway test—stand still, close your eyes, and think about a specific person. If your body naturally leans forward, it’s a positive sign. If it leans backward, it may indicate resistance or misalignment.
💡 Practical Step: Take a few moments to assess a key relationship using the Happiness Scale and Muscle Testing. What insights do you gain?

Final Thoughts: Navigating Relationships with Grace

Relationship shifts can feel beautiful, heartbreaking, and everything in between. The key is to navigate them with awareness, authenticity, and alignment. By understanding Human Design, Attachment Styles, Communication Styles, Defined and Undefined Centers, the Happiness Scale, and Muscle Testing, you give yourself the tools to create fulfilling, balanced, and aligned relationships.

Which of these insights spoke to you the most? Drop a comment and let’s continue the conversation. 💛
